Enforcement

Enforcement

If you have obtained a Judgment against a debtor and they have failed to pay within a reasonable time, then you can proceed to enforce the Judgment.

The Enforcement of Judgments Office (EJO) enforce all Judgments made by Northern Irish Courts.

Typical Orders which they can make include;
  • Order Charging Land
  • Attachment of Earnings Order
  • Installment Order
  • Seizure Order
  • Garnishee Order
  • Order Appointing Receiver
In addition, please note that if you have obtained a Court Order in another part of the UK and you believe that the debtor is residing in Northern Ireland, we can arrange to have the Order registered with the High Court in Belfast which will then allow you to proceed to enforce in the normal manner in this jurisdiction.
